Pharmacare Hawaii is a local pharmacy in Honolulu dedicated to providing quality service. The company specializes in a variety of services including home infusion, specialty, and nutrition.

In the video below you’ll see the presentation of RPA implementation in Pharmacare told by Francis Imada, Project Manager at Pharmacare where he has been working since 2018, and Clyde Shiigi, Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer at DataHouse, the organization which was in charge of the project management (RPA deployment at Pharmacare).

Implementation Team
DataHouse as a project manager had a strategic partner FPT and the team was assemble of data house and FPT members. FPT is a very large global IT service company that has a very mature RPA practice. For instance, they have about 500 RPA engineers. They support all the major RPA platforms, they have partnerships with them and certifications. So together DataHouse and FPT put together a team to install and train the RPA and to support it. So they have project management, business analysis, RPA development testing, and support. And all this was delivered in a global – the team had people on the US mainland, here in Hawaii, and then in Vietnam.

In a Nutshell, RPA helped Pharmacare to automate data entry into the pharmacy system. The project plan was just five weeks:

W 1-2: Setup RPA Platform & Confirm Environment Setup
W 3-4: Development
W 5: UAT (User Acceptance Testing )

ROI Summary

  • 5 Year Cash on Cash: 728%
  • Net Present Value: $119,251
  • Pay Back Period: 9,5 Months
  • Internal Rate of Return: 138%
